Mrs. Christy Binn, Directress and Lead Guide at Mustard Seed Manor
Christy Binn holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mental Health and Human Services from Franciscan University of Steubenville, Association Montessori Internationale Primary Diploma from The Montessori Training Center of St. Louis, and a Catechesis of the Good Shepherd Level 1 Certificate. Since 2010, she has gained experience as both an assistant and lead guide in Montessori schools for children ages 3-6, and has served as a catechist in the Level 1 atrium. Furthermore, she is Co-founder of Mother of Mercy Montessori School in Belize City, Belize which began in 2017. Mrs. Binn continues her relationship with Mother of Mercy Montessori.
Her passion is the Union of the Montessori Methodology and Catechesis of the Good Shepherd for a well-rounded educational experience and way of life for children and families.
On a personal note, living in relationship with Christ, being a wife and mother, creating lasting memories with her family, spending time in nature, and eating a good meal are some of her favorite things.
