Mission & Objectives
“The Goal of Education is to Learn to Love What We Ought to Love” Matt D’Antuono
Our Mission
We desire to foster a Christ-centered Montessori experience for children and families in our community. We recognize parents as first educators in the lives of their children and walk side-by-side in this great work of guiding each unique child to become an excellent human—one who is drawn into relationship with Jesus our Good Shepherd, and develops an interior freedom because he loves and is transformed by beauty, goodness and truth.
Educational Objectives
To nurture each child’s love for learning through his natural curiosity.
To help each child become independent, confident, and self-disciplined.
To encourage love and respect for all people.
To encourage a love for and be guided by what is beautiful, good and true.
To develop an intrinsic value system.
To develop character and virtue.
To use the Montessori Method in facilitating the growth of the child’s whole person—intellectually, emotionally, socially, and spiritually.
To share the love of the Good Shepherd, who calls each one of us by name.
To foster a love for learning and a good work ethic.
To learn how to be good stewards of the gifts we have been given.
